ANSI of the Week - Vol. 5 - “Idle Dreams (Headers)”
… annnnnd now we’re back on track. Once again, my apologies for the delay. I still plan on keeping the AOTW postings as weekly installments (every Saturday, hopefully). So hopefully it’s not in vain, and at least one person out there enjoys it.
I drew these headers for lordscarlet around 10(?) years ago when idle dreams was just a baby. Back then, us blockheads didn’t believe that (non-telnet) ANSI based BBSes could exist on the web, due in part to:
- Outside of the handful of us that were left, nobody cared about the art scene.
- At the time, ANSIs viewed in anything besides terminal (DOS/Linux/etc) based windows/programs, looked like crap.
Anyways, enough about all of that.
This piece was drawn under the ‘reevolution’ pseudonym and released with ACiD/RMRS1981. It’s also the ANSI of the Week for Sep. 4, 2011. Enjoy.
